EON ReportPrivacy Notice
How we handle personal data on EON Report.
1. Who we are
[LEGAL BUSINESS NAME], trading as EON Report, is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at support@eon-report.com.
2. The data we collect
Account data: name, username, email address, company number, access level and hashed password.
Business data: branch details and addresses, report templates, the reports and targets your team enters, and any notes or names included in them.
Support data: the messages you send us and our replies.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, log and usage data, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
To create and run your account, deliver the reporting service and send service emails — performance of our contract with you.
To keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product — our legitimate interests.
To meet accounting, tax and other legal duties — legal obligation.
To send optional marketing emails — consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
4. Who we share it with
Service providers who host, secure and support the platform, including our cloud hosting, database and transactional email providers, acting on our instructions.
Paddle.com Market Ltd, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, who processes payments, subscriptions, invoicing and sales tax for orders placed with us.
Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, and public authorities where we are required by law to disclose information.
We never sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where they do, transfers are covered by an adequacy decision or by Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
Account and report data is kept for as long as your business has an account with us, and for up to twelve months afterwards so it can be restored on request. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, or withdraw consent where we rely on it.
Email support@eon-report.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to the branches you belong to through database-level access rules, and administrative access is limited to staff who need it.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage only — to keep you signed in and to remember which branch you are viewing. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear them in your browser at any time, though you will then need to sign in again.
10. Changes
We may update this notice. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect.
